Peel Regional Academy of Sports Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at 5.00pm on Wednesday 12th November, 2025 at DCITS (Department of Creative Industries, Tourism & Sport) Conference Room, Suite 94/16 Dolphin Drive, Mandurah.

Peel Regional Academy of Sports are seeking nominations for Board Members for a one-year term with all positions available.
​
Board meetings are held once a month.
​
Nominations close Wednesday 15th October 2025.

The Peel Regional Academy of Sport (PRAS) would like to announce the departure of its long-standing Executive Officer, Tracey Van der Laan. Tracey has been an integral part of the PRAS program since its inception some 10+ years ago, firstly as the Head of Strength and Conditioning and then its Executive Officer. The PRAS Board would like to sincerely thank Tracey for all that she has contributed to the PRAS program and the growth and development of young athletes from across the Peel region. We wish Tracey the very best for the next stage of her life and hope that she finds more time to spend with her young family.
Tracey’s departure presents new opportunities for the PRAS program, and the Board is thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr Chris Wing to the Executive Officer position commencing 1 August 2025. Chris is the current PRAS Head of Strength and Conditioning and brings a wealth of experience to the Executive Officer role. Under the new structure, Chris will now work full time at PRAS leading the coordination and operations of the overarching program as its Executive Officer as well as continuing to perform the Head of Strength and Conditioning duties.
As we sadly farewell Tracey and celebrate and congratulate Chris on his appointment, PRAS would like to thank all of its sponsors and supporters for everything that you do to make the program so valuable to our local Peel based athletes.
We’re excited about this new chapter for PRAS and look forward to the successes that can be achieved together.

This program will target high performing coaches and provide them with the support, in terms of funding that can be used to up-skill both themselves and the standard of coaching across the Peel region.
